Things to Do in LA this Labor Day Weekend!

    Labor Day weekend is here! Now you’re wondering, “What is there to do!?”

    Well we’ve got the perfect list of great events that will make this Labor Day weekend one to remember!




    Ongoing Check out Cinespia’s popular film screenings at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary. Enjoy a night laid out on the lawn enjoying food, film and fun! This weekend, Cinespia is screening “True Romance” and Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds.” Tickets $16.


    L.A. Fleet Week

    Sept 2-5 In celebration of the U.S. armed forces, L.A. Fleet Week is a live event featuring aerial and military shows and guided ship tours as well as a variety of events, demonstrations, concerts, art walk, food, and more entertainment. With a full schedule of fun, L.A. Fleet Week is sure to be a great experience for the whole family! Event will take place in locations on the L.A. waterfront, in San Pedro and at Battleship Iowa.


    Queen Mary WET Carnival

    Sept 3 18+ Event: Party it up at the ALL NEW Queen Mary Wet Carnival featuring music by B.O.B., Tyga, Lil Jon, Kent Jones and live DJs! It’ll be a one stop shop with bars, waterslides, a foam dance floor, cabanas, food vendors and more! Tickets range from $39-$85 from 2-10 pm. The after party will be $50 from 10pm-2am. You can even rent a cabana for the event!


    L.A. County Fair

    Sep 2-15 Get ready for a weekend filled with carnival rides, fried food, animals and fun. This year’s fair includes an igloo with an ice skating rink as well as a dinosaur exhibit. Also, check out the bands headlining the event including Blondie, Chicago, Bad Company, WAR, and Iggy Azalea. Tickets range from $8-$20. Kids under 6 are free!


    Street Food Cinema

    Sept 3-24 Check out this month’s Saturday nightly film screenings as well as live music while enjoying delicious food from the local favorite food trucks! This month, you can catch movies like Gremlins, Grease, Bridesmaids, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and more! This event as held at various locations throughout L.A.! Check out their website for more details on location, food and schedule! Tickets range from $6-$21. Kids under 6 are free!


    The Taste

    Sep 2-4 Enjoy fabulous dining and delicious wine at Paramount Studios this weekend at the Los Angeles Times food and wine festival, The Taste. Choose the package that works best for you! Packages range from $100-$300 dollars. Don’t miss out!
